Hey all... Send me some doggy updates. You know you're family if you've adopted one of the munchkins:D If you've helped out you're one of my heroes. Much like you Kym, you are like family and I'm happy you are my friend. You work miracles when I ask...priceless. And Quillan, send me an update on DIVA... When you're ready for your next project I may have a great prospect. My Heathers where are you and Gay, I need to read your Ernie stories, they're the best! Would love to hear about so many...

That's ok. I understand. In her picture she just looks big, like lab size so it is hard to picture her being so small ;)

Donna says...

They don't allow cameras in the prison, so pics with people are not allowed so I can't get that for you. She is a bit taller than a toy poodle..I wish I could get you pics..

No, thank you! I believe it is three, I have two more weeks until I am out of school then a week without and my mom said that she was up that saturday, so that would be three. I am going to take her kayaking with me this summer and hopefully she will enjoy that. Thanks again!!!

Is it really 3 more?? I can't wait til you meet her. You are now familiar with her other family's too So glad all got involved to give you insight on their personalities. They are a special bunch of girls..I'm glad I had one dog drop out or she wouldn't have even been in the class. Crazy how life works. I see a lot of happy in her future. Thank You.

We LOVE Oswald!!!  He is so well behaved and such a loving young dog.  Thank you for bringing him into our lives!  So many people in our neighborhood comment on his great behavior that I am writing an article about your program for our community newspaper.  Blessings!

There is no way I could have seen the program end. It may be rough at times, but to let something so important fall by the wayside was not something I could do. The dogs are sent to the program by people who want to save their lives or give them the home they have never had, and the inmates need it...It is a beautiful program and I'm proud to be a part of it.

I find it hard to find the words to describe how proud I am to have the DRG program in

Muhlenberg County.  At one point, I was afraid the program would be discontinued.

Thanks to everyone involved-including the inmates.

You are angels for taking these innocent animals in and helping them find homes.  I sincerely hope they all find families.  (We already have 7 animals, or I would take somebody myself.)  Keep up the wonderful work.

I adopted a chocolate lab named Tex in 2006. He is the best dog ever! He stayed in the house with us for awhile, but he was just too big for our family of 4 to keep inside. So now he is an outside dog, and he loves every minute of it. We got him a friend this summer from Henderson Co. Humane Society, now he is the head of the yard. Great dog, and great program! Thanks!!!!!!!

Thank you for this wonderful program.  We just delivered T.J., a sweet red heeler, to transport heading for your facility.  We know he will be in good hands and find a loving home after his training.

This is a blessing to our shelter, as we receive around 100 pets a week and struggle to find them safe, loving homes

Thanks again!

I feel privelegded to have them. They will do well, and what in the world are you doing toenails for?lol The guys have a ball washing and grooming the kids when they come in. They won't know what to do since her nails are done. I promise to do right by her and Buster.

I think Tiki knows something is going on!! She senses a new beginning in her life. She is acting more confident already.

She very politely let me shoot bordatella vaccine up her nose [yuck] and trim her toe nails. She hates the toe nail trims!!

I'm getting teary eyed getting her & Buster ready for their new chapter in life. She has been with me since the beginning and was never supposed to stay this long in Rescue foster care. She and Buster truly deserve this program to help overcome their shyness and fear. I know they will graduate with confidence and finally find the loving home they deserve so much.

I thank God for you Donna and this wonderful program with DRDs.
